Birthday self-gift!!!
My Pacsafe obsession started in the 1980’s. The fabric is dressy enough for professional settings, can withstand most harsh outdoor weather & some PacSafe designs are definitely cute enough for raves, bars, dates, weddings. Not water repellant enough yet, but it’s okay for most life needs. Been looking to replace my 11L PacSafe "CitySafe 200" backpack from decades ago. That is my favorite & none has been the right size or been as smartly designed since, in my humble opinion. It was trashed by 2014 but by then, that handy design was put to rest. Keeping with backpack purchases, I bought the CX 17L for my 16” laptop. A little too big for everyday errand jaunts that lead into casual evening outings with friends like movies & drinks. I have been using the 8L mini backpacks in grey & black for a few years & wanted a tiny bit more space with room for a laptop at library visits, business needs.
This new 10L design I bought in 2 colors; taupe & navy. I was very excited for this 10L & the possibilities two more liters would allow. I feel the design is a bit off the mark, not a lot of smart or innovative thinking in this design. This is why I only gave this backpack 4 stars. The laptop compartment is great for my 13” laptop. This compartment could do with a simple pocket or even a zipper pocket. The main compartment is standard PacSafe good thinking designed with little pockets for organizing/separating items. But the top under-hood area in the main compartment is open…
