Great Travel Backpack – Peace of Mind While Travelling

I recently used my Pacsafe GO 34L Anti-Theft Carryon Backpack on my holiday in Barcelona, and I’m really pleased with it. I felt confident carrying it around and had peace of mind knowing that my belongings were secure.

This is actually my third Pacsafe bag, which says a lot about how much I trust the brand. I’m also planning to purchase a Pacsafe crossbody bag to go with this one for future travels.

One feature I particularly liked is the internal compression strap, which helps keep everything securely in place inside the bag. It stops your clothes and other items from sliding down and collecting at the bottom when you’re carrying the backpack.

The anti-theft features are another big plus. I felt reassured knowing that my belongings were protected while walking around and exploring.

The only downside I found is that securing the two main zips together with the lock can be a little fiddly, especially when you’re in a hurry. Once you get the hang of it, though, it becomes easier.

Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a secure, practical and spacious travel backpack.

For backpacks in this size range, it hits most of the right check list items for me. For US domestic flights although outside the personal item dimension, it does fit in under the seat in all the short haul flights I've taken. Some planes in longer haul flights can have less space under the seat due to the entrainment systems, so it's riskier to assume under the seat as a backup. The bag doesn't use a structured backing material for the back of the bag, but I use a large packing cube to create one.

I like the security features, as it has a good blend to reduce an opportunistic theft without using a TSA lock.

The one thing I don't like is the lack of an against the back laptop compartment. The smaller packing space can be used to store a laptop but it's in the front of the bag. It's just bad placement for a heavier items. This is among the features left out to keep a simple and light weight bag.

For clothes and things needed for a few days this bag is good. Less so if you want to bring a laptop.

As a frequent solo traveller, security is not simply a nice extra feature -it's essential. What immediately impressed me about this backpack was the way that Pacsafe has managed to combine practicality, comfort, style and security into one beautifully engineered product. The anti-theft features, including the lockable zips, slash-resistant materials and RFID protection all give genuine peace of mind when I'm travelling through airports, train stations and the underground in unfamiliar settings.

The 34L is exceptionally well judged. It is large enough to carry everything I need for a weekend trip, yet compact enough to remain manageable as carry on luggage. The clamshell opening makes packing effortless and the internal organisation helps me keep everything neat and well organised.

What I appreciate most is the feeling this backpack gives me. When I am travelling, I feel safe, instead of worrying about my belongings, I can focus on enjoying the journey itself. That feeling is priceless and worth every penny! Well done Pacsafe, I look forward to taking my new carry on everywhere.
