I like the convertibility of the bag, and it’s stylish enough. The safety features of the zippers make for a slower entry than I’m used to, but I got used to that quickly and can manipulate them by feel now—don’t have to look at what I’m doing every time.
I gave four stars instead of five because the strap is not very comfortable when I have the bag weighted with a water bottle, a notebook, phone, and all the other random things I lug around for an all-day excursion. It’s highly adjustable, but the buckle part always seems to rub in the wrong spot, and the strap itself kinda digs into my shoulder(s) after a while. A wider strap could be an easy modification, perhaps.
Overall, I’m happy with it, and glad to have it with me while traveling solo throughout Central and South America.
