FINALLY a money belt for women
I have another money belt, but it is large and bulky and has way too many zippers and pouches, so I needed something smaller and more discreet. This finally feels like a money belt actually made for women, it's no more intrusive than a bra and is the same material as lingerie. It's stretchy and almost undetectable even under light summer clothing. Wise travelers know that a money belt needs to be worn discreetly under clothing and only needs to carry absolute essentials - Enough cash for a day, maybe a passport and credit card if needed - It is supposed to be accessed in private rather than dug into constantly like a wallet. It shouldn't be an enormous bulky safe to be carrying everything around constantly. Also, RFID scanning is a lot more rare than most anti-theft product manufacturers would have you believe, RFID protection is a totally unnecessary feature for a money belt which simply doesn't get close enough to an RFID scanner unless you're absolutely packed in with a thief. I highly recommend reading Rick Steves's articles on avoiding pickpocketing. So with that in mind, this is perfect. It's really comfortable, very adjustable, and yes it does dry quickly. I prefer this style (very light and thin fabric) to the style of my other money belt which has a padded mesh backing. If it's very hot and/or you tend to sweat (I definitely do), just get a passport cover and a thin flexible plastic case to protect your cash/cards from moisture. It's a bit more expensive than I'd…
