I bought this small backpack for city breaks where I’m on my feet all day, popping in and out of museums and shops, and it did not disappoint.
It’s the ideal size for carrying two water bottles, with one pocket on each side, while still having enough room for a light jacket when the evening gets cooler and all my personal essentials. It’s lightweight too, which makes a big difference when you’re carrying it all day.
For me, a small backpack is much more comfortable for all-day use than a cross-body sling, as the weight is distributed evenly across both shoulders. I’ve also used it while cycling and motorcycling, and it never feels too big or bulky on my back.
It’s become my go-to bag for day adventures. This backpack isn’t new to Pacsafe’s range, but it’s easy to see why it continues to sell so well. I chose the blue colour and I’m really glad I did—it’s easy to spot and stands out nicely.

I used this backpack on my recent trip to the Philippines and to the parks in Orlando. It defintely served its purpose and has put me at ease specially when I am with a huge crowd! It is so light, durable, water resistant and was able to fit all of my necessities!
First of all, the anti-theft protection and workmanship are outstanding. Unfortunately for me, there is a lack of practical details: There is no strap to attach the backpack to the handle of a trolley. The small handle at the top is not enough for this. The zipper straps are all the same color, so you can open the wrong zipper. The space inside the backpack is wasted by slits and pockets, which are rarely suitable. It would be better to have a backside to hang in and unhook so that you are flexible. And finally, the Pacsafe logo on the outside could easily be more prominent. Pickpockets avoid Pacsafe, but they could be deterred from a distance. These are my subjective impressions and criticism on a high level. I replaced the zipper straps and attached a night light to the backpack, as it has no reflectors. The benefits of anti-theft protection and high-quality workmanship make the points mentioned appear irrelevant, but it is simply not enough to get the full score.
