Bought as a present and although she loved it I’ve had to return it as too small. I’ve ordered a larger one
I’ve been traveling a lot for medical reasons, overseeing my sister’s care. The size of this bag is a little bigger than the mini. I found I needed the slightly bigger bag. To secure the enclosures it took a little getting used to. I love the compartments it comes with and the comfort it gives me knowing that my belongings are safe!
I haven’t used this back pack yet, however, I was so impressed with the exp35 which I used to travel around South America, I decided to complement it with this bag. It is the right size to fit under the seat on aircraft and to fit in all the essentials for walking around during the day. I intend to use it next year to travel to Vienna as a day pack and also later on in Cambodia and Vietnam.
Excellent size, not too big but really practical, confident walking around towns in Crete, I would say this is an excellent bag.
I wanted a secure way of carrying purse, camera etc whilst on holiday in USA, especially as we were visiting New York. The straps were comfortable (I first tried the size below, but the straps didn’t sit at all well), and the capacity was large enough to carry everything I needed. I did find the side locking mechanism to the main compartment somewhat fiddly to use, so admit to never using it. Each time we were scanned for a museum etc the bag lining set off sensors, so had to be checked by a security guard, but that was no problem. I did find the front pocket difficult to use…would have preferred a top opening zip rather than side. And would have liked an additional inside zip up pocket, as I have in my old backpack. The rear protected zipped pocket, which is on your back when wearing the backpack was a good place to keep valuable documents, eg passport. Basically I’ve used this bag for 3 weeks, it has seen torrential rain and kept everything dry, and met most if my requirements.
