I’ve recently replaced an older b/p that I’ve used for many years. This replacement has exceeded my expectations. It’s a perfect size for flights and will hold all I need for several days away! And the security of the “pacsafe” technology is comforting and is my everyday “go to” pack when we travel!
I would add one more Item to the backpack. Something on the back that would allow it to slip onto the handle of a rolling suitcase. It is constantly used as a carry on, for airlines. this would help immensely when travelling through airports.
I have the black backpack and it’s my go to carry on that I fit under the seat. I love the extra safety features with the zippers so I am reassured my belongings are safe when traveling. It’s also my go to day backpack when I’m sightseeing.
A great backpack overall. The new carry handle is very comfortable.
My concerns with the NEW locking system are (1) that for people with arthritic fingers it is much more awkward to work with the new style of closures than it was with the OLD system; (2) again as a result of arthritic fingers, the small size of the zipper pulls makes it difficult to grasp them and to work quickly and effectively with them; (3) after attaching additional 'pulls' on the zippers so that I can grasp them easily, it is not possible to lock the backpack without removing those added pulls. I wonder if a minor adjustment to the shape of the pulls could incorporate a more easily graspable pull or could provide an opening for an additional pull to be attached? Additional concern: (4) the internal RFID pocket in the new Venturesafe G3 pack is not as secure as in the Venturesafe GII because the G3 lacks the flap that covers the opening of the pocket.
