I bought this bag to use when traveling but I like it so much that it’s my daily “purse” now.
Not only is this a great looking and styled sling, but it’s so easy to wear. I bought it for the safety features that you can’t even tell are there and it surpasses my expectations. Seriously a 5 star product
Just returned from 3 weeks in France and Spain. I have 4 products: backpacks, waistpacks, messenger bags from PacSafe. This is a wonderful size, finally one that can fit my passport, wallet, iphone. Lightweight, with the security features standard on PacSafe products. I can fit a light goretex rainjacket inside, ipad Mini, water bottle inside or attached to outside loop. Compact rangefinder camera can also fit.
My ONLY suggestion with your sling/crossbody/waist pack products is to provide a slightly longer strap so that it does not sit so high on my chest when in crossbody mode (which is essential now in Paris, with Olympics drawing a flood of pickpockets to the Metro). I am 6'2", 46 chest, 190 lbs (athletic build, not obese) and the sling sits a bit high on my chest. 3-4 additional inches to a strap would solve problem, or, provide a modular add-on strap that slides into extend the locking slide attachment, PLEASE! I would gladly pay for this additional accessory innovation.
I like how the sling distributes the weight. I would replace the one large mesh pocket with two smaller pockets. As always, the security features are terrific!
Packsafe bags are awesome. I am a fan and now own this bag and two backpacks (a 20L for daily use and travel, and a Metrosafe LS350 15L in my car trunk holding a puffer, towel, rain shell, blanket, multitool, knife, sharpie, umbrella and water bottle).
This sling fits perfectly inside the outer pocket of my Vibe 20L backpack and is what I use for my EDC. I normally do not like to wear sling bags when I travel but Pacsafe has changed my mind on that with all the anti-theft features.
This bag also makes it super easy to get through airports. I only use the 20L Vibe backpack when I travel and I can slip this sling in the outer backpack pocket when I don’t want to have a sling on me or when I go through security. This sling and the Vibe 20L make a great modular system for my daily use to and from work and also for ultralight travel.
